Hotel Ristorante Grotta Palazzese

Images by hemanth Kumar

In the old and small town of Polignano, the sea created grottoes that creap under the houses. The larger of those grottoes, the Palazzese cave, was used by Duc de Leto as hall for his parties in the XVIIIth century.
Nowadays, it's our restaurant: romantic, unique. Lobsters, fishes and shellfishes are the specialities and also typical dishes from Mediterranean food. Up on the cave, 24mt on the cliff overlooking the sea, the hotel opened all the year long and the indoor restaurant that here works from October to April. Beyond the main building, both sides of the grotto, upwards, there are some characteristic rooms with a little balcony overlooking the sea. In summertime: sea, sun and sense of wellbeing; in the other months: sea, sun and relaxation in a nice town where temperature never goes below zero.
